Rice Waffles

2 eggs
1 c milk
½ c white flour
1 c whole wheat flour
1 tbsp baking powder
3 tbsp sugar
2 shakes nutmeg
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 c cooked rice


Great for using up left-over rice!

Mix together eggs and milk. Sift dry ingredients together and add to egg mixture. Add shortening and rice. Add additional milk as needed. Cook in waffle iron.
