Cherry Coffee Cake

1 yellow cake mix
2 eggs
½ c margarine, melted
1 can cherry pie filling (~20 oz)
½ c chopped nuts (optional)
Glaze - make after cake is cool
1 c confectioners sugar
~ 1 tbsp hot water


Mix dry cake mix, eggs and margarine until smooth. Spread into ungreased 13x9 pan. Spread pie filling on top. Sprinkle nuts on top.

Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes. Cool. Drizzle with glaze. Store covered to keep moist.
